The Cluny:
300 fire limit (includes all guests, band members and staff, we recommend sellable cap 270 – 275)
Cluny 2:
180 capacity (semi-seated/fully standing on ground level in front of stage), 130 (fully seated)
Both venues are available to hire for live music events, parties, meetings and private functions.
Cluny 2 is also suitable for theatre, comedy events, spoken word and lectures.
Both Cluny venue spaces, and the main bar are, are fully wheelchair accessible.

Unless otherwise stated on our website and listings, all of our evening gigs start at 8pm and have an 18+ age restriction.
We have a strict 11pm curfew for live music but our bar is open until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Bus services 12, 22, 39, 40, 62 & 63 on New Bridge Street at the top of Stepney Bank.The Q2 Quaylink bus also now serves Ouseburn Valley, stopping on Byker Bank. The Cumberland Arms just up the hill from us is a great pub and also has very nice Bed & Breakfast facilities.
Otherwise we recommend the Ramada Encore Gateshead which is a 10 minute drive from the venue but very reasonably priced with excellent facilities and rooms, plus very helpful staff
The Premier Inn Millenium Bridge is less than 5 minutes walk from the venue

A reasonably-sized free car park, accessed via Foundry Lane is about 50 yards from our door. Plus two small paying car parks under the arches of Byker Bridge.
