Smif-N-Wessun is an American hip hop duo composed of members Tek and Steele. They are known for their contribution to the East Coast hip hop scene, particularly during the 1990s. As part of the Boot Camp Clik, they have left a lasting legacy in the hardcore and underground hip hop scene.
This year marks 20 years of Smif-N-Wessun’s “Still Shinin.” Indeed, the duo clearly live up to the title. In 2024, they’re very much Still Shinin.
Kendrick Jeru Davis, professionally known as Jeru The Damaja, stands as a venerated pillar in the hip-hop community—an American rapper, producer, actor, and composer whose influence has stretched far and wide ever since he stepped on the scene.
We look forward to welcoming Jeru back to Newcastle to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his iconic album ‘The Sun Rises in the East’. The last time he paid a visit to the Ouseburn he was on top form, hanging out for the entire weekend and delivering an epic performance!
